Photoshop Room

I only made a door that was unique, which was a little confusing to do till I looked at the one to the right of me.

Hand work continued

Didnt do much, just moved some veritcies to give it more depth.

Final Project: Teacup

This project took 7 hours of work time from 10/05/12 to 10/15/12. This project started with an outline of the teacup, then revolved to form the body. With a lattuce the top of the teacup was twisted and then edges on the outside were beveled to give it ridges. The bottom plate was the created in the same fashion as the teacup. Ridges were added as well. Next was the sugar jar which was made almost the same as the teacup. The body was made then the top, both were revolved and resized to look realistic. Then the handle was created. Next came the colors and the materials. Then the scene was rendered. I didn't like this project very much. The modeling was simple but sometimes frustrating getting it the way I wanted. I didnt like rendering it either. I learned how to better guess the spacing and proportions of an object.

Final Project: Screwdriver

This project took a total of 5 hours, about a week of class time, from 09/25/12 to 10/03/12. The project started out simple, I created the curve which was the basic outline for the handle. Next was to revolve that curve which made the handle. I went and fixed any irregularities in the handle then proceeded to make the rod. I reshaped the tip to create the flat tip of a real screwdriver. I put the rod with the handle and assigned materials to give the colors of the render.  I changed the render options and turned on Final Gathering which made the picture above. I liked how simple the project was and how good it looks, I didn't like how I was missing one option and it made the handle excruciating in dealing with. I learned about the different rendering options there were, also the curves i made for the handle outline.
